Dr. Ivone Mirpuri is a Clinical Pathologist who specialized in Anti-Aging Medicine at the Hertoghe Medical School in Brussels—a leading training center in hormonal aging across Europe and an official specialization of the World Society of Anti-Aging Medicine and the International Hormone Society.
She also completed medical training and certification in Anti-Aging Medicine at Cenegenics, Las Vegas. Founded in 1997, Cenegenics was the pioneering institution in the development of Anti-Aging Medicine and is recognized as a global authority in the field due to its extensive expertise. Cenegenics is affiliated with the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, and the University of Nevada, School of Medicine, Las Vegas, where she completed her training in this specialty.
Dr. Ivone Mirpuri regularly contributes to various magazines with articles related to healthy aging and is often invited to appear on television programs and podcasts to discuss health topics. She is also a frequent national and international speaker at conferences focused on hormonal dysfunction (see “News”).
She keeps up with the state of the art in this field by attending international scientific meetings and world congresses. Dr. Mirpuri is a member of both the World Society of Anti-Aging Medicine and the International Hormone Society. She also served for many years on the board of the Portuguese Association of Clinical Pathologists.
In 2016, she founded the Anti-Aging Medicine Study Group (GEMAE).
She collaborated as a lecturer at the Fernando Pessoa University’s Postgraduate Course in Aesthetic Medicine, teaching the Hormonal Modulation module, and has been an honorary member since 2020.
Dr. Mirpuri also serves as a medical advisor for the Mirpuri Foundation (www.mirpurifoundation.org).
With her background as a Clinical Pathologist and her international specialization in Healthy Aging Medicine since 2010, Dr. Ivone Mirpuri now dedicates 100% of her medical activity to medical and public education. She conducts training courses (www.gemae.pt) and delivers scientific lectures on topics related to Hormonal Modulation, as part of the “Thinking Heads Portugal” platform.
